Preheat the oven to 350 and grease a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Sprinkle bread crumbs into the bottom of the pan. Top with sausage and half of the cheese.
Whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, mustard, and pepper and carefully pour on top of the sausage mixture in the pan.
