So, this recipe throws in uncooked pasta into the crockpot and everything turns out fine in the end. I promise!
Slow Cooker Mac And Cheese Ingredients:
- 2-1/2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1 package, 16 oz, Velveeta cheese, cut into 1/2″ cubes
- 1/4 cup butter, cut into 1/2″ cubes
- 3-1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
How To Make Mac And Cheese
Spray a slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Add macaroni, cheese, butter, milk, water, and spices. mix well.
Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for 2-1/2 to 3 hours or high for 1-1/2 to 2 hours. At the midway point, give it a stir.
Carefully taste pasta when your timer goes off and make sure you are comfortable with the firmness.
Mix well before serving. This recipe serves 8. If you’d like, at this point, you can top with optional items such as crispy bacon or fresh herbs. If you feel like you need to add a bit more salt and pepper, do so before serving guests.
