Easter Egg Cupcakes: Cadbury Creme Egg Cupcakes Recipe

These Easter Egg Cupcakes are such a treat. Using a Cadbury Creme Egg, you can transform an ordinary cupcake into something extraordinary for Easter that the children will never forget.

Easter Egg Cupcakes

I have a wonderful Easter dessert idea that I think your children will absolutely love and it involves Cadbury Creme Eggs.  Cadbury Cupcakes are just perfect for the holiday because it almost feels like the Easter Bunny left a little surprise behind inside each of the cupcakes.

Oh my goodness!! The recipe is simple enough, but the taste is anything but. These Easter Egg Cupcakes packs such a punch with each bite that your children will be begging for this recipe all year long.

Don’t think this treat is just for kids, though because it’s actually my husband’s favorite treat. The Cadbury Egg is his favorite kind of chocolate which surprises me – but who am I to judge.

He looks forward to this time of the year because it’s the ONLY time you can find these darn sweets.  And so do I because then I can make these cupcakes for him and the kids. Honestly, once you see how easy these cupcakes are, you will start to make them every Easter as well.

Cupcakes are my absolute favorite dessert! Therefore, I will not be making these b/c I will eat every last one. There is a local cupcake bakery started by a mom, called Crowley Cupcakes, http://www.crowleycupcakes.com/, in Madison, NJ. Not only does she make the standard size cupcake, but all the flavors are duplicated in mini cupcake versions of the full size treats. Since these mini cupcakes have no calories (LOL, especially if you just pop one whole in your mouth while standing up), it is a nice, indulgent treat with many less calories and the same GREAT taste.
