Turkey Casserole Recipe – Easy To Make Turkey And Stuffing Casserole

This turkey casserole recipe has 4 ingredients and is semi-homemade. I use some pre-made ingredients in order to save some time, but the end product tastes absolutely homecooked. You know, that’s my kind of style. I don’t have time to slave away in front of the stove all day. I want that “fill your soul” kind of feeling without all the work. This turkey and stuffing casserole will give your family that exact feeling and more.

Turkey casseroles are not just reserved for Thanksgiving. You can enjoy them all year long. In fact, I absolutely love to make casseroles whenever I can. There’s something so simple about serving one dish to my family at the dinner table. Makes it nice and easy when it comes to clean up at the end of the meal. This Turkey casserole recipe is hearty and filled with vegetables. You can mix and match whatever flavors you’d like, but the construction is pretty much the same. Don’t feel like having turkey today? Put in chicken and this recipe will still work. Whatever you use, just make sure it’s cooked before making this casserole. You can also swap the turkey gravy for chicken gravy. The choice is yours.

Easier Than You Think

Like I mentioned, I really leaned on things that I didn’t have to make from scratch for this dinner idea. This ground turkey casserole recipe is beautiful to serve, easy to transport, and makes a great hostess gift if you are attending a potluck. It’s a crowd pleaser – for sure!

If you want to add a little some extra to your turkey stuffing casserole, you could always bring a side of cranberry sauce. Are you a jelly in the can kind of girl? Full confession – that’s my favorite kind! I have friends that make me homemade cranberry sauce when it’s Thanksgiving season and I do enjoy those flavors as well. But give me that wiggly jelly any day of the week and I will be one happy camper. LOL!

  • 2-quart casserole dish – For this leftover turkey recipe, we opted for a 2-quart casserole dish. This one is just perfect and will run you around $12.
  • Skillet to brown the ground turkey – You need a good skillet because it’s something that I turn to over and over again. This is a great choice for a fair price.
  • Microwavable Measuring Cup – This is a kitchen staple for me. I use it to microwave everything I need as well as to measure, to whisk, to pour. You name it and I use it. It’s my go-to kitchen product.
