    Cadbury Creme Egg Cupcakes Recipes: Fun Easter Dessert For The Kids


    Come on! Doesn’t this look amazing!! Cadbury Cupcakes are PERFECT for EASTER!! Oh my goodness!! The recipe is easy enough. And what a surprise once you bite in. Your children will love making and then eating Cadbury Creme Egg Cupcakes.


    (Makes up to 24 cupcakes)


    • 1 box of chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients called for on the box, i.e. eggs, oil & water)
    • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
    • 3 teaspoons of vanilla extract
    • 4 cups confectioners’ sugar
    • 4 tablespoons milk
    • Cadbury Crème Eggs (1 per cupcake)
    • Food coloring (optional)



    • Prepare cake batter according to box instructions.
    • Fill cupcake liners 1/3 full and place a Cadbury Egg (thick side first) down inside the batter
    • Bake cupcakes according to box instructions. Allow to cool in pans 15 minutes before frosting.
    • To make frosting: use an electric mixer to beat butter until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in confectioners’ sugar until fully incorporated. Beat in vanilla frosting. Pour in milk and beat for an additional 3 minutes.
    • Add food coloring (optional) to create desired color.

    1. Cupcakes are my absolute favorite dessert! Therefore, I will not be making these b/c I will eat every last one. There is a local cupcake bakery started by a mom, called Crowley Cupcakes,, in Madison, NJ. Not only does she make the standard size cupcake, but all the flavors are duplicated in mini cupcake versions of the full size treats. Since these mini cupcakes have no calories (LOL, especially if you just pop one whole in your mouth while standing up), it is a nice, indulgent treat with many less calories and the same GREAT taste.
