I had the chance to attend a blogger event at the cabi Headquarters a few weeks ago and JUMPED at the chance. I am SUCH a huge fan of the brand – as you know. You see me wearing cabi clothes weekly on social media all year LONG. What can I say? I’m a girl who likes quality, style, and convenience.
The group they brought along were filled with aspirational women – all doing their thing in a very different way. It was truly wonderful to get to spend some quality time with these women and to make new friends from my online space. It’s so big… but it doesn’t have to feel that way.
cabi Meet And Greet
Throughout the day, we had the chance to meet many of the familiar faces behind the cabi label – including kicking off with a breakfast spearheaded by none other than President Kimberly Inskeep and CEO Lynne Cote. Talk about a power couple! WOW.

It was at this time that we learned about the amazing nod they just received at the Los Angeles Business Journal Fashion Awards. Congrats to the entire cabi team because what they do with their cabi Foundation is truly inspirational.
Their entire mission is to encourage and empower women in need. From distributing clothing to U.S. communities affected by natural disasters to empowering women entrepreneurs in the developing world to work their way out of poverty, cabi is passionate about serving and investing in women across the globe.

We had ample time to post about our adventures – which is always a treat for social media lovers like myself. To check out some of our posts, use the hashtag #cabionline or #cabibloggerday in your search. Super fun!
Behind The cabi Curtain
One of my favorite parts of the day was really taking a peek behind that curtain – getting to see and understand the process from conception. How do they even THINK about starting a collection? Where do they begin? It turns out, it all begins with a vision board.
Who walked us through this process? None other than Kat Woodside – Chief Design Officer – and Becky Jantzen -Style Director. I cannot tell you how amazing these two women were. Warm, personable, knowledgeable and chic. The ultimate package – times two!
Then it was onto to meet the man. No, really. T-H-E M-A-N. Daniele Trussardi – Executive Creative Director – not only walked us through his conception and art direction concepts for the catalog and for the overall campaign but….
He even guided a cabi photo shoot of our own. WHAT? I had no idea that was going to happen. Super amazing!
And just for fun, we sat through a mock cabi party – which I’ve actually had the pleasure of attending on my own. It’s always such a great girl’s night out idea. If you are looking for a cabi consultant to talk you through the process, or if you’d like to learn how you can earn amazing discounts on clothes of your own, click here.
We rounded out the day with a mannequin challenge and some champagne. Actually, we pretty much drank champagne in every room we walked through. I told you it was a wonderful day!!
And just for fun, Audrey made a fab video of our stay out West. Check it out.
