Handmade Drink Stirrer’s for New Year’s Eve Parties
Drink stirrers are the perfect way for party guests to tell their glasses apart during your celebration. Whether you choose to put the year, a person’s name, or a fun word on your drink stirrers, make each one slightly different. These stirrers can be made in just a few minutes, and will add the perfect amount of glitter and sparkle to your party table.
New Year’s Craft For Adults – What You Need:
- Wood drink stirrers
- Glitter cardstock
- White card stock
- Circle punch
- Heart punch
- Curling ribbon
- Hot glue
How To Get Started On This New Year’s Craft For Adults
Note: I printed a sheet with the year on it, but you can also use stamps or stickers, just whatever you have on hand.
Using the circle punch, cut out as many circles as you’ll be needing for your skewers.
Using the heart punch, cut out as many hearts as you’ll be needing too. You can either punch over the top of printed numbers or words or stamp your own.
Cut strips of curling ribbon, fold them in half and glue them in place on the center of the circle, and then using scissors, curl the ends of the ribbon.
Now glue your word or number over the top with the hot glue too. This New Year’s craft for adults is almost done!
Glue each of your circles onto a stick.
Tip: put the stick into a glass that you’ll be using to make sure you don’t glue the circle on too low.
Now all you need is some sparkling apple cider (for kids), champagne for adults, or a fancy cocktail. BOOM! This New Year’s craft for adults is DONE. What do you think?
