I.
Love.
Guacamole.
Plain and simple. I make it A LOT. I order it even more. I am OBSESSED. Here’s the recipe my best friend taught me many moons ago.
Step 1: Place 1 avocado in a bowl. Squeeze in 1/4 of a lemon. Zest in 2 garlic cloves (with microplane) and a 1/4 of an onion. Dice up 1/2 tomato and add salt and pepper. You can put some cilantro in if you’d like. I don’t typically add it, but people do.
Step 2: Mix and enjoy!! Serve with chips. How easy is that!!!??
Do you have a recipe you’d like to share? Please send me an email with photos and a recipe. I would love a chance to visit inside your kitchen.

Girl…that looks really good! I love guac. Todd hates it, boo 🙁 I know even Natalie and Liam love it, right. You’re smart to get them liking different foods early.
I use red onion, it is milder, and tons of cilantro. So easy, and delish!
I use red onion, and yes, lots of cilantro. Delish, perfect summer food. For a lighter dip, sometimes I mix equal parts sourcream and guacamole. I should try a microplane, I keep hearing about them. I use a garlic press. How do you get to the end of the garlic though and not scrape your finger tips, is there a holder or something?
I just toss it in once it gets to a point where I can’t microplane anymore. Or if it’s a hard end, I throw it away. 🙂
