The new Sonic the Hedgehog trailer dropped today and I am super excited about it. As a child, I think I played the Sega Genesis game every single day before and after school.

Needless to say, this character is literally part of my BEING. So, to be able to see Sonic in action again – but this time with my children – is SUCH an incredible opportunity. I am BEYOND pumped for this movie.
In case you haven’t seen the Sonic the Hedgehog trailer yet, here it is for you to enjoy. But get ready because there is a big surprise waiting for you. It starts with a “mus” and ends with a “tache”.
Sonic the Hedgehog Trailer
YEOW! Did you see it? Jim Carrey is back on the big screen in a fun, action-packed movie and his entrance is eye-popping. Naturally, he is coming at us HARD as the villain, Dr. Robotnik, and it all just looks so incredibly funny.
Sonic is coming to the big screen in a live action movie, keeping intact what generations of people love most about the character – his mischievous streak and sarcastic personality. Super excited to show the kids.
The film highlights Sonic’s backstory by exploring how he came to Earth and how he deals with being an outsider in a strange world. Can I be honest with you? I have NO CLUE how he came to Earth! So, this movie is just as much for me as it is for the kids.

Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Synopsis
SONIC THE HEDGEHOG is a live-action adventure comedy based on the global blockbuster videogame franchise from Sega that centers on the infamously brash bright blue hedgehog.
The film follows the (mis)adventures of Sonic as he navigates the complexities of life on Earth with his newfound – human – best friend Tom Wachowski (James Marsden).
Sonic and Tom join forces to try and stop the villainous Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) from capturing Sonic and using his immense powers for world domination. The film also stars Tika Sumpter and Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic.
Will you be heading to the theatres to see this one? I sure hope you do! Coming in November.
