Ralph Breaks the Internet is officially playing in theaters everywhere and I hope you have plans to get there with the family! I had the chance to see the movie opening night during the movie’s LA premiere and had a ton of fun. I’m someone who loves to still go and see cartoons with the kids… I mean, animated films. CGI adventures? You know what I’m saying! While my true heart remains with the undead, there is no denying that Disney will always own a piece of my soul. After all, aren’t we truly all still kids deep down inside? And when I find characters that I can relate to – I root for them with all my heart.
Scruffy, determined, wild-eyed and dreaming for adventure… I know a girl like that, too.

Ralph Breaks The Internet Movie Review
Here’s the official word – go and see it. It’s not like your typical sequel. You know, the one where they throw some money at the wind and just try to milk something so hard that it actually RUINS your memory of the first movie? No – this movie isn’t like that at all. No selling out! YAHOO! I actually LOVED Ralph Breaks the Internet. No shark jumping… although I think there was a shark and he did jump, but that’s a different story.
The storyline kept changing which I actually enjoyed. At first, you thought the MAIN point of the movie was to find a game piece on eBay. Don’t worry, I won’t tell you much more than that. But somewhere along the way, that piece doesn’t become the heart of the film. The movie becomes about something much more deeper than that. And then – just when you thought you had it all figured out, Ralph starts to go on a journey on his own. And you know what? We haven’t even gotten to the bad guy yet! I’m telling you – this sandwich was meaty!
Ralph Breaks The Internet – Old And New
Even the side characters brought me so much joy. There was this dude from NYC that I am pretty sure I’m related to. Well, I was obsessed with him. His main function was to get Vanellope and Ralph access to the dark web and honestly, I LOVED HIM. Every time he came on the big screen, it was like a pump of fresh air for me. A twist! A different vibe. I really enjoyed all the side stories!

And meeting Yesss… who I wish I could meet in REAL LIFE. PLEASE, SOMEONE FIND ME.
And then, of course, there’s that famous PRINCESS scene. I have a full post written about that one.
And DON’T get me started on this GODDESS. I mean, COME ON. I wanted to BE Gal Gadot in Ralph Breaks the Internet. She was totally bad a&&. 
If you are wondering if all of your favorites are in the movie, they are. Do they have tremendous parts in this film? Not so much. It’s really about Ralph and Vanellope and some new friends they meet along the way. I didn’t mind. It still felt right. The Internet is vast and so it makes sense that they had to meet new people on this new journey. But through it all, they stayed exactly who you know and love.
So, Should You Go And See Ralph Breaks The Internet?
Did I laugh? Yeah. Quite a few times. I chuckled out loud and I am a pretty miserable person – so that doesn’t happen that often. Did I cry? Yeah. A few tears came out of my dried up eyeballs. I know what it feels like to be in a strained friendship. A lot of what was unfolding on the big screen felt very familiar to me.
Ralph Breaks the Internet is exactly what you think it’s going to be – a great time out for your family. For the entire family. For your little 6-year-old son all the way up to that grumpy aunt who is staying with you for the holidays. It’s for them all. Get your tickets today and save room for the popcorn.
