The Best Pitbull Toys – Indestructible Chew Toys

I spent some time this morning searching for the best pitbull toys for our furry baby. We are seriously in the market for new indestructible chew toys because our two-year-old gets through everything and fast!

It’s fun to always bring home new bones, tennis balls, plush toys, pull toys, and ropes, but it adds up and we all know what strong jaws can do to interactive toys! After just a few days, our Tucker demolishes whatever we hand him. And we understand why – that boy is a powerhouse! With all of his energy, he needs special toys for dogs with lots of added tough. As dog owners, it was time to do a little research and figure out a great option for our large size pup.

The Best Pitbull Toys – Indestructible Chew Toys

That’s why I had to write this post for fellow pitbull parents dealing with this long time issue. Large dogs are one thing, but if you own a pit bull, it’s just a tug of war, a balancing act! We need the PERFECT toy, am I right? The right toys make all the difference.

The good news is that I was able to create this round up of indestructible toy options, all in different sizes for pitbull puppies or full-size adults, offering you the best choices on the market that I’ve personally tested. I will tell you what fell apart and for how long and what is still going strong. And YES, some are still going strong. Can you believe it? Durable toys do exist.

8 Pitbull Chew Toys

BULLYMAKE Turkey Leg - Nylon Chew Toy

This BULLYMAKE Turkey Leg – Nylon Chew Toy is made in the USA and is specifically made for power chewers. Designed for dogs that weigh 15 lbs – 150 lbs, this product is flavored with a hickory meat flavor! YUM! Click here to purchase. It’s the next best thing to a real turkey leg.

Extreme Goodie Bone Large

Everyone is familiar with KONG toys. Their Extreme Goodie Bone (Large) has been rated as a great pitbull chew toy option. You can actually use this product to stuff treats! So, a double bonus. Click here to purchase this indestructible chew toy. Kong is always a good choice and I tend to go back to this brand often. I always opt for their largest size when I can – that is an important factor for me. This brand also never sells fragile toys as an FYI. They are built to last. From their pull toy line to their chew ball line. It is all GOOD.

Benebone Real Bacon Zaggler

The Benebone Real Bacon Zaggler Rolling Dog Chew Toy for Aggressive Chewers promises to last for several weeks. I love to read promises like that! And did I mention that it is bacon flavored? Click here to purchase. We love to buy a good chew stick for my dog, but he eats through it pretty quickly. This bacon chew bone is nearly impossible to get through. It’s just bacon flavor and lots of fun.

Pet Qwerks Wish BarkBone

Wishbone shapes work really well with my pit because he loves to hop from one side to the next. I also feel like he thinks he can crack one side off. I always find him searching this one out! Click here to check out Pet Qwerks Wish BarkBone. I think all dog breeds can have fun with this design. It’s a great way to get some of their energy out at night. We play a game of tug of war with this, each grabbing one side.

Goughnuts

The Goughnuts – a TuG Interactive Large Dog Toy – is safe, durable, and fun. There’s a place for the owner to tug and there is a place for the dog to grab onto. This is a great pitbull toy option because everyone has some space. Click here to purchase. It comes in different colors.

Nylabone Power Chew XL Dog Chew Toys for Aggressive Chewers

I feel like posting several Nylabone options because we’ve had so many for almost two years now and they are all still intact. The Nylabone Power Chew XL Dog Chew Toys for Aggressive Chewers is one to look out for. Click here for more information. This is one of our strongest toys.

Palmula Dog Toy for Aggressive Chewers

Update on this particular one – we’ve had it for months and months. My dog has ripped a small area off of it, but nothing else has come off. It’s great for playing, tugging, and pulling. It’s one of his favorite toys. Even though he was able to snip off a little section, it hasn’t enticed him to rip more. It’s been ages since the tear and the toy hasn’t ripped more since. I felt like I had to tell you that!

It’s important to watch where your hands will be when it comes to pitbull toys. For example, with ropes, they rip them up so quickly!

So, the space between your hand and their mouth gets closer and closer. It’s not that they want to intentionally nibble on you – it’s just that proximity wise – it’s bound to happen when there is no space left.

By. the way, this goes for EVERY DOG – not just one particular KIND OF DOG. My dog has never harmed any member of my family. Do not read into this negatively.

Anyway, that’s why with pitbull dog toys – like this Palmula Dog Toy for Aggressive Chewers – there is ample room in place for everyone that is playing! I love that. Click here for information.

Rope toys are super fun… but they don’t last. I’m just being honest with you. We get them for Tucker all the time because he loves pulling them apart and he can spend three to five days doing it.

But hear me! It’s both messy and a waste of money. HOWEVER, my dog LOVES IT! So, we continue to buy rope toys for him even though they really aren’t very durable. It’s just a REAL TREAT! So – take it for what it is.

So, you’ve read my list and now you have a few decisions to make! What options do you think will work best for your dog? Would love to hear.
