Yesterday I got my craft on with Woman’s Day. Or… at least I tried to! LOL! It was so funny because the women in the room had different levels of skill when it came to crafting. I – obviously – was on the lower end of the spectrum. And when I say lower, I mean barely on the chart.
The Woman’s Day editors encouraged us to get creative and come up with designs of our own but that just wasn’t going to happen for me. I had to copy one of the Haunted Halloween houses that were already displayed on the table. And that’s ok! I’m fine with that.
I still had a good time… and isn’t that what crafting is all about?
This craft idea is available in the current Woman’s Day October edition. So, be sure to head out and grab a copy if you’d like further details on instruction. Otherwise, let’s get rolling!
Look at this masterpiece!! Don’t be jealous!
For the roof, we used photo corners. How smart! I would have NEVER THOUGHT TO DO THIS!!!
I added on a few more decorations and called it a WIN!
They tried to get me to decorate a pumpkin after and it just wasn’t happening. I put one X and then stopped because I knew what road I was walking down – a dirty and dangerous one. One I probably wouldn’t have been able to return from…
Here’s the final product! What do you think? The kids LOVED IT! It was super fun to make and now I am inspired to do a similar craft with my little ones at home.
I’m also going to show you how to make this free-floating ghost! I just have to make one at home first. 🙂 STAND BY!
