Giving To Those In Need Thanks To Pampers #BetterForBaby @Pampers

Here is the second half of my Pampers Better for Baby initiative.

I was so excited to get this portion in play because while it was fun to honor my friends for being great moms, I really wanted to give to people and organizations that could use a little support.

I’ve been a member of the Pampers Baby Board for several years and many of my blogging friends know this. I’m so thankful for this little badge because I was able to help two families in need this month all through word of mouth.

My friend Katja from http://www.skimbacolifestyle.com told me about a family in need. Their house suffered through a devastating flood. Just look at some of these pictures.

They need everything – and I mean everything. So, Katja asked me if she could reach out to Pampers for diapers and I told her I would send them out of my #BetterForBaby fund!!

The family was kind enough to send me a shot of their little ones on top of all the goods. Prayers for them that they restore their house and find order once again.

Next up, we have a reader from Twiniversity. I was sitting with the owner of the website – Natalie Diaz – gushing about how much I love working with Pampers because they allow me to do good deeds. I told Natalie about the grant they gave me in order to help anyone as long as my efforts made the family’s life “Better for Baby”. She stopped me in my tracks and told me that she had someone JUST reach out to her asking for a free Amazon Prime membership so she could get diapers with free shipping for her baby. They had hit hard times.   I couldn’t believe the timing. I just couldn’t! I told her that I would send her a few hundred dollars worth of diapers if she would just send me her address and preferred sizing. And that’s exactly what I did.

In case you want to see what was in the jewelry pack… yeah. It was pretty awesome.

I can’t thank Pampers enough for allowing me to be part of this great initiative. I’m always looking to give back to my community but sometimes it’s hard to figure out just HOW. Pampers made it very easy for me to plug into their cause and gave me free reign to do whatever came from my heart.
