The kids couldn’t be happier today. Snow. Snow. Snow. Did I mention the North East got some snow?! Not nearly the disaster they were claiming on the news – but we all know how that goes. I half believe everything I hear when it comes to weather. I guess if you think about that, it’s kind of sad that we live in a “hype up into hysteria” kind of world. But that’s not really the point of this post. This post is all about fun and snow and love and sunshine!!! I mean… not sunshine, SNOW!!
Natalie and Liam ran outside with all their gear on. Thank goodness we bought them some snow suits! I have one for Caleb but I didnt buy him shoes. So, after Bill shovels we are going to let him go out and play.
I brought the snow inside!! Caleb was so EXCITED. He was screaming and throwing it all around. I let him. It’s just water. Whatever. He knew the other two were building forts and having snow ball fights. What’s a little water on my carpet? Maybe it will actually clean it!!
Just looking at these two make me COLD. HA! Luckily, my neighbor invited them over for lunch. In fact, they’ve been there for HOURS.
So, in the end, #snowmageddon2015 didn’t hit us as hard as everyone anticipated. Jill wasn’t amused. But at least our power is still on. I was so surprised when I woke up this morning WARM. I was SURE that our power would go out during the night.
