The Bronx Zoo Holiday Lights Exhibit is one of the most festive things to do in NYC during the holiday season. If you are looking to take the family through an outdoor experience they will never forget, be sure to reserve tickets for one of our favorite Christmas traditions to date!

When Is The Holiday Lights Exhibit?
The Holiday Lights will turn on between November 20 and January 10. So, don’t worry! You have time to get your walkthrough in. But there are a few things that you need to know because this year is a bit different due to the current state of the world.

Is There A Special Preview For Members?
If you are a WCS member, keep in mind that your preview is between November 17-19.

This year, all tickets for Holiday Lights must be purchased in advance! You cannot just show up the day of and expect to walk in with your family. Reservations are required. This is the most important thing to note. Masks are required and social distancing rules must be followed.

How much are the tickets?
The prices for tickets are as follows – > Adult $34.95; Child (3-12) $22.95; Seniors $32.95. Children 2 and under are free. All guests 3 years old and over must have a ticket.
There is also a 30-percent early bird discount for all ticket purchases made before October 4, 2020! So, try to make your reservations this week!

Do I have to leave if I am at the park during the day?
Daytime park hours on days with Holiday Lights will be between 10:00am – 4:30pm. If you are in the park during an exhibit day, you must exit at 4:30PM.
Guests entering the zoo after 3:00pm must have a Holiday Lights ticket to stay in the park.

What Can I Expect This Year At The Bronx Zoo Holiday Lights Exhibit?
If you’ve gone to the Bronx Zoo Holiday Lights Exhibit in the past, you know that there were several areas designated to large-scaled animal sculptures and designs. Well, this year, the event has expanded to include almost 50 more animal lanterns than last year and included five geographically representative lantern safaris as well! So, there is more to. see and do!
Expect holiday-themed music, ice carving demonstrations, costumed characters, and more! And come hungry! There will be lots of hot chocolate and s’more on hand to enjoy.
