Ingredients for Air Fryer Baked Apples
- 3 large apples
- 4 tablespoons melted butter (split)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons sugar
Instructions
Peel and slice your apples and place them in a large bowl. Add two tablespoons of melted butter, the vanilla, and cinnamon. Toss.
Place apples in your air fryer basket and cook at 380 degrees for 10 minutes. You can toss mid-way.
Meanwhile, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and mix with 2 tablespoons of sugar in a medium bowl. Combine. When the apples are done, place them in the butter-sugar mixture and toss your cooked apples until coated. This step provides so much additional flavor and accentuates your favorite apples’ natural sweetness.
Tips and Variations:
- I’ve seen some people online use coconut oil instead of butter. Consider if you’d like to make the substitution.
