I just got back from the Wrinkle in Time premiere and have so much to say about the experience… in due time. For now, I wanted to write a little post about red carpet dresses.
During the event, I saw truly elegant gowns, but I also walked alongside people who looked like they were coming from WORK. I even saw a few pair of sneakers! Nowadays, it’s a true mix of highs and lows.
It gave me a little perspective about what kind of dress could work in any situation. Something that’s not terribly showy (unless you want to be – then YOU DO YOU, girl) but still can fit perfectly into the night.
These options are priced right and can absolutely be worn again and again throughout the year. Not too bold, but elegant enough to make a statement. My top favorite is the first one. The color is just so divine!
