The holidays can be so hectic. I mean… you saw what happened this weekend, right? All that shopping and running around was enough to run someone ragged. What? It couldn’t have just been me?!
It’s really not about the chaos though, right? This season is more about spending time with your family in the comfort of your own home., finding joy in the little things, making new memories, and remembering the old ones.
One of my family’s favorite traditions is buying ornaments while on vacation. When we put up our Christmas tree, we remember all those good times. It’s such a wonderful way to get everyone talking about their favorite moments from the last few years.
We did that this weekend and while it was such a project …I didn’t mind. I was happy. My children were happy. It was a great time had by all.
