TomTom Runner Cardio: Built-In Heart Rate Monitor So You Get More Out Of Every Run

TomTom Runner Cardio

I had the chance to test out the TomTom Runner Cardio last month and can tell you first hand that this device gives you more than its competitors on the market today. Not only does it register your mileage during your run, but it also monitors your heart rate which is the most accurate way to understand how your body is reacting to the exercise.

Here’s another BONUS. The TomTom Runner Cardio finds you within seconds – thanks to the company’s GPS abilities – which means that you don’t lose out on any of your run. Everything gets tracked – right from the beginning. As someone who wants EVERY SINGLE STEP COUNTED, I really appreciated this!!!

How did I test it out exactly? With relay races of course! Through this fun activity, I learned that I am insanely out of shape. I’m talking ridiculously 100% out of shape. My resting heart rate is around 107. WHAT?! Other people were somewhere around 80! We were sitting on the couch and people were asking me if I just had come back from a jog. Um… no. I just got a drink of water.

HUGE slap in the face for me. Get up and move girl. All this sitting in front of a laptop is doing me WRONG! I am not going to tell you what my heart rate was after I jogged up a hill. FORGET IT.

I haven’t taken the TomTom Runner Cardio off yet. I’m obsessed.

Another reason why I like the TomTom Runner Cardio is the fact that users are able to sync up and share their data with friends. Makes you more accountable, right? You can upload your activity on popular running sites and track your progress against personal goals or compete against friends.

If you are looking to push yourself into a more active state, or if you just want to track your daily steps and heart rate, consider the TomTom Runner Cardio.
