Spotify And Hulu Launch Discounted Bundle For All Users

Spotify and Hulu announced today that all users will have access to a new bundle that will include both services. Something similar used to be available to just students, but now they have rolled out the plan to the masses. YEAH!! For a discounted price, you can now enjoy both subscriptions together. If you are currently a Spotify Premium user, you will have the chance to upgrade first. Lucky – lucky!! 🙂 Instead of paying $9.99 per month for your on-demand paid subscription, you can now choose to upgrade to the $12.99 per month plan which will include Hulu’s Limited Commercials plan.

What will Netflix have to say about all of this?

After all, I feel that Netflix has certainly been leading this race for the last few years. But now that Spotify and Hulu have teamed up, it seems the playing field just got more even. Bundles are a great way for people who are on a budget to stretch out their dollars.

Starting today, Spotify Premium users will be given the option to trial the bundled subscription through a promotion that offers Hulu for 99 cents for a three-month period. Look out for this promotion!!!

On its own, Hulu’s Limited Commercials plan is $7.99, so this is a significant saving. Even when the price increases to the full $12.99 per month, it’s far less than paying for both on their own.

Can I be honest with you? I have been eyeing “The Handmaid’s Tale” for MONTHS NOW! This just might be the thing that finally gets me to subscribe. Smart move Spotify and Hulu. Smart move.

Think about it – now that Spotify and Hulu are a team, that even puts Amazon Prime at risk. Now Spotify people have access to digital video. And Hulu people don’t really need to worry about Amazon Music anymore. What is going to happen to all of these companies? Absolutely nothing – I know that. You know that. But still. It’s fun to see what new discounts and perks everyone is going to throw out in an attempt to keep up with the new Spotify and Hulu partnership.

What do you think?  Are you going to subscribe now that Spotify and Hulu are a thing? Were you already doing so? Curious to hear your thoughts
