My Fitness Of The Moment: Yoga @athleta

My husband’s Mother’s Day present is finally being put to good use! If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you know that I am a lover of Yoga. I used to go quite religiously pre-Caleb. I blame everything on Caleb, don’t I? Now that he is 15 months old, I thought it was time to start getting back into my old routine. While I was away in Mexico two weeks ago, I took a class with my friends and it felt so good to get that STRETCH back. AHHHH – everything I was missing and then some.

The Yoga studio in town offers outside classes on the weekends which I absolutely L-O-V-E. There’s something really special about doing yoga in the park. Of course, you have to get there early before all the kid soccer games begin… but it’s so worth it!

We have a wonderful backdrop too. We don’t stand right where I am in this picture, but I wanted to give you a good shot of St. Paul’s Cathedral in Garden City. It’s just so beautiful. Old and classic.

For today’s poses, I decided to put on an outfit from Athleta. I like yoga clothes that aren’t too form fitting on top. I’ve had three children. I need a little breathing room if you know what I mean.¬†Athleta has clothing for every body type and style need which made it very easy for me to shop! And the colors all seemed to match! I actually bought two different greys by accident but it looked just fine. I was happy with it all.

And once I was done… I went food shopping because the clothing works for that too. HA! Love a multi-tasking outfit.

It feels good to be following my fitness routine once again. I made a promise to myself that this was the season that I would start caring about myself again. One tree pose at a time…
