The recipe is easy enough and it’s a super cute idea for the upcoming holiday. It’s so colorful and sweet – the absolute perfect treat for the season.  And who doesn’t have Lucky Charms on hand? It’s on my my kids’ favorite cereals.

These rice krispy treats with colored marshmallows are super fun to eat and are sweet treats that make an impression! They also store and travel beautifully! So, consider making a batch for friends and family that you plan on visiting during the holiday weekend.

My little ones are always up for marshmallow treats. Let’s get started with this St. Patrick’s Day dessert idea.

Lucky Charms Treats Ingredients:

  • 6 cups Lucky Charms cereal
  • 10 oz mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick)
  • Extra Lucky Charms marshmallows for garnish

How To Make Lucky Charms Treats

In large saucepan melt butter on low heat. Add mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Add Lucky Charms cereal. Stir until well coated.

Lucky Charms Treats Recipe

Using an oiled spatula or parchment paper, evenly press mixture into 1″-2″ pan coated with cooking spray. Top with extra individual Lucky Charms marshmallows if desired. Let cool. Cut into bars and serve.

Can you put this into a 9x13 pan or do you need more cereal and marshmallows??

I just made them in a 9 x 13 and it turned out fine.
