Ingredients

As a note with the ingredients, feel free to double up some of the spices if you like them! This is a light version of vanilla chai tea, but if you like stronger flavors, make sure every spice is one teaspoon. But try this way first. ūüôā

How To Make Homemade Hot Vanilla Chai Tea Latte

  1. In a small saucepan, bring your water, spices, and tea bag to a boil. Whisk together. Remove from heat and let settle. You must strain before pouring into a mug.
  2. Using the same saucepan (once clean), add the milk, and vanilla and heat on low until simmering. If you have a hand frother, it would help to make the foam, otherwise use a good ol’ whisk.
  3. Once your foam is to your liking, pour over your tea, sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy!

I have a Copycat Starbucks Chai Tea Latte Recipe Made Dirty that I also make ALL THE TIME. This one is just two ingredients and is a REPLICA of the drink in the store.

This drink is the perfect pick me up after a hard morning of work and a little treat that makes me feel special without having to spend a lot of money. And that first sip feeling…. OOH so good.
