Get Ready to Add Some Style to Your Back to School

I have some news for you that may seem unbelievable. Ready? It’s time to start thinking about back to school if you haven’t already. I know, I know. It seems like it’s not time, but trust me, it’s time. My family and I have had the most amazing summer so far this year and we simply don’t want to see its conclusion. From beaches to BBQs to camps to lobster rolls to movie nights in bed, it has really been wonderful. But, as they say, all good things come to an end and when it does, we have to be ready for it!! The kids need supplies, they need clothes, they need…stuff. The older they get, the more they seem to need. They also seem to have stronger and stronger opinions on what that “stuff” needs to be and look like. The challenge I have each and every year is to pick up back to school gear that’s both practical and affordable and add some style to the kids’ back to school.

Add Some Style to Back to School

I’ve always felt that it’s important to add some style to back to school gear. While they need the supplies they need to do their schoolwork well, it’s also very important for kids to be able to express their individuality through their style. While this has gotten a little bit easier with each passing year, it can also be difficult to find quality school supplies at a reasonable price. I want it all and so do my kids! Well, maybe I’m the only one that also wants reasonable prices, but let’s not dwell on that. LOL. There are many places today to get what you need, but there are few that can offer everything I’d want. Office Depot is one of the places that does offer me everything and I love that they have a Back to School section of the site segmented by grade! So easy!

Office Depot has a variety of fun school supplies and fashion collections that add some style to back to school s0 students of all ages can use to make the 2017 school year fun, trendy and exciting – at an affordable price! From fruit-themed pencil pouches, to tropical folders and planners, there are endless combinations of fashionable school supplies that kids will love (and parents won’t have to worry about breaking the bank). Believe me when I tell you, when I find a place to can satisfy me AND my kids, you know it’s like finding the pot o’ gold at the end of the back to school rainbow. I’m never disappointed when I check out all the amazing items at Office Depot.

We have been frantically picking up item after item trying to get everything 100% locked down before we go on vacation in the middle of August. Then it’s 2 weeks until school and I don’t want to think about a thing! I’m pretty much done at this point, thank goodness, and we have had some very clear favorites that add some style to the school year. The kids are really loving the Oxford™ Open-Tab Binders with 2″ Rings (MSRP $14.99, the TUL™ Custom Note-Taking System Discbound Notebook, Junior Size (MSRP $8.49), and these TUL® Retractable Gel Needle Point, 0.5 mm Pens (MSRP $14.99).

I love the look, feel, quality, and value of these items. Natalie loves the colors and compartments of the Oxford binder, perfect for organizing all of the many classes’ work. Liam loves the small, clean black notebook since it’s easy to carry around with him in his backpack or even under his arm. All three of the kids love the pens since they write perfectly in vibrant, fun colors.

It’s great to check things off the list, but it’s also great to really have your kids love the items they are getting. I really think it makes a huge difference for them. It makes it more fun and more personal, which will hopefully lead to doing a little better in school. Hey, every little bit helps, right? I’m all for anything and everything that makes them happier, so these finds at Office Depot are a win-win all around.
