The Thor Shirtless Scene In Thor: Ragnarok Because We All Want To See Chris Hemsworth Without A Shirt

We are only here to see Thor shirtless. Let’s be honest, I wrote up a review for the movie, but you are really only here to see pictures of Chris Hemsworth’s shirtless scene in Thor: Ragnarok. Am I right?

I am with you, friend. I am with you. It was the best freaking moment of the entire movie. Earlier this week, I took my son to see a preview of Thor: Ragnarok – now available on Blu-Ray – and we had such a great night out.

Not only did the movie offer up a lot of laughs, but Chris Hemsworth is literally shirtless for a good 35 seconds or so. Actually, time stopped for me and it felt more like 4 days – but whatever, who is counting?

The Thor Shirtless Scene In Thor: Ragnarok Because We All Want To See Chris Hemsworth Without A Shirt

In Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok,” Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his home world and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela.

But first, he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk! Did I mention the god is shirtless?

There is so much happening in this movie besides the Thor Shirtless scene!! And all the key players came out in full force. Chris was joined by Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins. Everyone brought their own unique touch to the movie and brought just the right amount of action, comedy, drama and meaty backstory.

But enough about the acting… let’s talk about the Thor shirtless scene again because honestly, that’s where my head is at. That man is so damn fine and I just need to say it out loud a few times. But he isn’t just a perfectly sculpted creature from the Outback.

He has excellent comedic timing and yes, we knew this already from all the past Marvel hits he has under his belt. Heck, even Ghostbusters showed off a huge portion of his funny side! I love a handsome man who can make me laugh… and is named Chris. Wait what?

Thor: Ragnarok Movie Review

Thor and Loki movie stills

Thor: Ragnarok keeps you on your toes. Are you rooting for Loki? Or are you wishing him a long and horrid death? Do you HATE Hela because she is out for destruction and terror? Or do you hate her father for banishing her once he no longer needed her power?

There is PLENTY of family drama and I’m not saying it’s all relatable because we aren’t GODS looking to DESTROY LIFE… but Thor: Ragnarok proves that villains are not always so easy to define and more times than not their history is what inevitably creates the creatures we fear today.

I understood Hela. She was evil – pure evil. But how else can you build an empire? Is it not through war and fighting and downright mass demolition?  We cannot rewrite history because we are ashamed of it. We all know how we got here.

It was ugly. SO much TRUTH to that part of the story. Very relatable. The people who get to tell the stories are the ones who hold the most power because they can make everyone forgot what they want. The UGLY.

Hela was truly a wake-up call to Asgardians. She was the reminder that Asgard was built off of HER BACK and HER STRENGTH. And once it was all done and in place for the King, she was sent away to hold that secret. Disgusting. I didn’t want her to win. I want to make that clear. But I wanted her truth to be heard. If this makes any sense. In the movie, Hela said something along the lines of, “How do you think we got all this gold?”

UM…. YEAH! EXACTLY! Everyone is walking around with flower crowns without a clue in the world. But Hela remembered. At one point, she cracks down a beautiful painting of waterfalls and rainbows and shows the audience the REAL history of Asgard.

She was in every scene – leading every army.  Building every castle. Responsible for every ounce of riches that everyone else gets to simply just enjoy.

Thor didn’t know. You cannot blame him. Loki had no clue either. But now they have to deal with their father’s mistake. Just as we all do at one point in our lives.

But to add to my JOY, Jeff Goldblum had a pretty great role and I soaked in every single one of his scenes. He’s actually one of my favorite actors because he never actually SOUNDS like he is acting.

I want to look up if he just improvises everything because it really does sound that way. I love him – ever since the 80s. Ever since I could remember! Happy he jumped into the Marvel world!

Thor And Hulk’s Friendship

Thor and Hulk

And the Hulk was also another great storyline that I enjoyed. Bruce remained as the Hulk for many years and it was really hard for him to get out of that phase.

He was filled with rage and anger for so long that he couldn’t find a way back from that. There is a fight scene between Thor and the Hulk that was EXCELLENT.

Again, filled with humor but also filled with compassion. Thor did NOT want to hurt his friend but he also had to protect himself. What a horrible position to be in!

In the end, he managed to get Bruce out of Hulk’s shadow and I found some of Bruce’s scenes to be quite sad because they were so relatable.

Chris Hemsworth's Shirtless Scene In Thor: Ragnarok

How can we – as a people – get out of all this rage and anger now that we’ve been frozen in this state for so long? I don’t know?

Maybe Thor will have to come and save us? Maybe a few laughs in the theatre with some friends is exactly what everyone needs?

Oh and also this. We have to end with Chris Hemsworth shirtless again, right? Thor: Ragnarok is available on BLU-RAY TODAY.
