The Marshmallow Gingerbread Pops are a huge hit in my house because my kids are huge Fortnite fans and they also love Christmas. It’s the best of both worlds.
Adorable, sweet, easy to make – this holiday dessert is not only fun to eat but also perfect for the holidays and perfect for little hands.
The Marshmallow Gingerbread Pops – Holiday Recipe For The Kids
The holiday season is all about fun desserts and festive treats for the kids, right? Well, what do you think about these Marshmallow Gingerbread Pops?
Personally, I think they are SO CUTE! The kids can decorate them as they please. Think rosy cheeks, wide-eyes, and a huge smile. Holiday ready!
The Marshmallow Gingerbread Pops Ingredients
- 10-12 Large Marshmallows
- 1 Cup Butterscotch Discs/Melts (any flavor could be used)
- Sucker Sticks
- Black edible marker or White Icing Writer
- Candy eyes
- An assortment of candies/sprinkles (candy balls, hearts, flowers)
- Foam block (to hold the pops while drying)
The Gingerbread Man Directions
Insert sucker sticks into the bottom of the marshmallows. Now, take your butterscotch discs and put them in a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave for 30 seconds, then stir. Continue to do this until discs are all melted.
Dip each marshmallow into the melted butterscotch discs, tap on sides to remove excess. Insert pop into the foam block.
Let cool for just a minute or two before adding your candies. This will allow the candies to stick without falling off.
Once all gingerbread pops are dry, take either your black edible marker or your white icing writer and draw the smiles on! They are ready to be served or stored in an airtight container!
What do you think? Something your kids would enjoy? Would love to hear your thoughts!
