StoryBox from Disney Interactive just released today and I had the chance to review it firsthand.
I’m a pretty tech savvy gal. So, when I review apps, I like to think of my mother – someone who isn’t so computer literate (sorry mom I love you but it’s true). Would my mother be able to successfully use this app to its FULL potential and would she enjoy the experience?
While checking out StoryBox from Disney Interactive, I have to say that even my mother would approve! It is SO EASY TO USE and the outcome is SO GREAT.
A picture is worth a thousand words, right? Well how much would an animated story be worth? You can add photos, captions… even video. Amazing.
I took a few pictures of Natalie building a fort. In the beginning, I was uploading one photo at a time but then I wanted to see what would happen if I uploaded a number of pictures at once. Great news! StoryBox made collage pages on its own! M-A-G-I-C.
I wanted to change the sequence a bit. So, I just dragged and shifted the layout. A breeze!
When I was all done – I emailed the story to my mother and snagged the embed code for this post. You can also upload to your social media channels as well.
Done. And done.
My favorite part of StoryBox? Having the ability to add small captions to each picture. I love to put my two cents into everything (yes, my husband just LOVES that I do that all the time) and now with this app I CAN! 🙂
