VIDEO: How To Blow Dry Your Hair Straight

I decided to make a video about how you can straighten your own hair. I’ve been doing my own hair since I was 13 years old and I used to be the girl all my friends came to while in college before a night out on the town.

This video will show you how to straighten your own hair with a few key tips… but there’s a little problem. The first portion is a bit blurry, so you have to forgive me for that – it clears up after about a minute, but UGH I was so angry when I saw that!!!

Here are some of the tips for blow drying your hair straight that can be found on this video:

  • Let your hair dry a bit before you get started styling. You will spend less time if you give yourself 10 minutes or so to air dry.
  • Always use a heat serum and don’t apply it on your roots.
  • Section off your hair into segments.

The rest is in the video!!

Hope you like it! If you’d like to subscribe to my YouTube channel for updates on when new videos are available, click here.

The blowdryer is a T3 and it comes with the attachment :http://www.t3micro.com/

The brush is just an over-sized round brush but it’s not my preference. My real brush looks more like this: http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?skuId=2161184&productId=xlsImpprod1800269&navAction=push&navCount=1&categoryId=cat120074#sku2161186 but I flipping lost it!

That used to work for me too, but as i’ve gotten older, my hair has changed quite a bit. I now have to flat iron it if I want pin straight hair. Otherwise, I get really frizzy.

    So awesome & simply!

I use one large clip to pin the top but TWO would be so much better and hurt my head less.

I never pin back the bottom…duh!

I always flat iron my hair because blow drying it straight is such a challenge. You make it look so easy!
    Thank you!
