The Stroll-Air My Duo

This fabulous double does what no other side-by-side double does at the moment- it offers 2 reversible seats in a lightweight, very narrow frame and, if that’s not enough, takes 2 infant car seats as well. I’ve been running around town with the My Duo– from the Zoo and the grocery store to Kindergarten pick up and mulch covered playground- and it’s been great. Narrow, at 29 inches, it will glide through any door, and so lightweight, you won’t even know you’re lifting a double in and out of your trunk. I can actually lift it with one hand. To keep the frame narrow, the seats are narrow as well, but my very large 40 pound 3 year old has both ridden and napped in this stroller many times.  It’s a bit tight for the napping, but he is at the very top end of the seat limit of 45 pounds. He does enjoy the ride quite a bit when he’s awake and actually asks for a seat. My 2 year old and 10 month old have plenty of room and also love riding in it. I love that I can choose if they face me or face out and can easily switch their seats independently depending on their moods. Headroom is great and so is the canopy. The My Duo has one of the fullest canopies I’ve seen and still has a pop out sun visor. It’s so big, you may never need to pull it all the way out. The bottom of the canopy can be pulled up to expose the mesh sides, great for ventilation on a hot day or to give your newborns a better view of the world.  The recline is fully flat and perfect for little ones, you really won’t need the optional bassinet unless you want it. The recline is operated with an easy strap-pull system that allows you to position the seat anywhere between fully upright and fully reclined.

The My Duo handles really well and maneuverability is great. The lightweight frame is not just a plus in and out of the car it’s also great to push. In pretty much every situation I tested it in, it did amazingly well for such a light stroller. The only time it was a bit sluggish was when loaded down with the 2 and 3 year olds pushing one handed through very wet mulch and over muddy ground. However most strollers would be the same or much heavier under those conditions, so it’s not that much of a negative. Optional air tires are expected to be available in about 6 weeks, which should help alleviate even this difficulty. I can’t wait to give them a try. The fold is super easy and very compact. I was amazed at how easy it was to get in and out of my car and how little space it took up in the back considering it’s a side-by-side double.

If you are looking for the perfect twin stroller or really want to be able to have your newborn face you while your toddler faces out, this will be a perfect stroller for you. If you have a much larger child you might want to check the seat size first to see if the My Duo will work for you.
