I am literally sitting in the Atlanta airport waiting for a connecting flight to get me home to NYC. I have a few hours to kill and thought I’d get started on my Beaches Turks and Caicos post. Why? BECAUSE I HAVE SO MUCH TO SAY! I’ve been here before with my kids and we LOVED IT. It’s the type of vacation where everything is taken care of. You don’t have to leave the property if you don’t want to because everything you need is r-i-g-h-t there.
The beach (which is 12 miles long) is crystal blue. The pools are spread throughout the property. The activities for the kids are outstanding (and even include a 45,000 square foot water park) and the food and drink are endless.
There are four different villages that you can stay in when you come to Beaches Turks and Caicos. Since this is my personal pieces, I’m going to give you my preference. Each area is beautiful… but I’ve stayed TWICE in the Italian area and have been so happy both times. The pool is my favorite (pictured above in the first shot). The rooms are spectacular and it’s conveniently located next to the aquatic fun center on the beach.
But like I said – any section would do. Just in my personal experience, I’ve enjoyed the Italian Village the most.
Then again….
The newest installment to Beaches Turks and Caicos is Key West Village and as you can see… it’s MAGICAL. Holy moly! I wish I had the chance to check out this section more, but I didn’t get to take a good peek around. From the outside, it looks like a plush, cozy town that I literally want to live in year round. I do want to point out that the majority of these units do not have beach views. Be sure to call and ask ahead. If you don’t care about that sort of thing, I would most certainly try out this section. I walked by some housed and they had their very own POOLS. WOW WOW WOW !
Another reason why the Beaches in Turks and Caicos is such a fantastic family destination is the fact that they have a full blown water park on property including several different water slides and a lazy river! When I visited two years ago, they didn’t have this surf simulator installed. I was really excited to see the addition.
And you know I tried it!! But I waited for them to put it down to the boogie board standard. There was no WAY I was going to do the surfing one! HA!
You want a kids club? I’ll give you a kids club! You can put your little ones in a camp all day if you’d like and they will be entertained all throughout the resort. Swimming lessons, ice cream fun, visits from their favorite Sesame Street characters and more. Daily schedules vary – so check back often.
Whether you are looking for a romantic seafood dinner by the ocean or a casual meal with your feet in the sand, Beaches Turks and Caicos has you covered. I LOVE all the available options and STYLES that are on property. Between this trip and my last, I was lucky enough to try them ALL. Sometimes all inclusive can leave you…. wanting. Let’s just say that. Quantity over quality really isn’t my thing. But you will be happy with each meal you have at this resort. Sushi lovers especially — everyone was going bananas over Soy!
And yes, they even put me to work at Kimonos! Now, if you know anything about me… you know I’m obsessed with Hibachi. That smile is genuine. I was in my happy place behind that grill. HAPPY PLACE.
For water fun, you can use any of the equipment that’s on hand.
Go for a snorkeling adventure…
Or just enjoy the crystal blue water.
You could even grab a bunch of friends for a jump photo in front of it all. 🙂

Are you a pool person? Then swim up and grab yourself a frozen mojito in between laps. PERFECTION!
Listen, I can go on and on and on. I really love the Beaches family. And don’t get me started on the Sandals vacation I took earlier this year with Bill!! You can’t go wrong. If you are looking to hit it out the park, then visit http://www.beaches.com/main/tc/tc-home/ for more information.

Look wonderful! I was at Beaches in May of 2012 with the family and we just adored it. Turks and Caicos just may have to be our next destination!
