I love how there are so many different Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pumpkin Stencils to choose from! Who is your favorite? Leonardo? Donatello? Michelangelo? or Raphael?!
Each turtle has a signature color. Just in case you aren’t familiar – let me bread it down for you because these Halloween stencils are color-coded.
My family is absolutely obsessed with the Raphael Ninja Turtle! That is for sure! There is just something about his personality. I am sure if you ask your children, they will have personal favorites as well. Either way, here is a breakdown of who wears what mask.
- Michaelangelo (Mickey), wears an orange mask.
- Leonardo (Leo), wears a blue mask.
- Raphael (Raph), wears a red mask.
- Donatello (Donnie), wears a purple mask.
So, be sure to ask your son or daughter who is their favorite ninja and then surprise them with their very own ninja turtle pumpkin stencil.
Carving Tips For Pumpkins
Make sure that you always supervise your children when it’s time to get down to business. If you don’t want to make a mess, you can carve your pumpkin outside on top of some newspapers – spread out over a large surface. If it’s too cold for that, then make sure you do the same indoors.
We have a large island in our kitchen and we typically do all the carving there. It’s right next to the garbage can and we can quickly scoop everything into the garbage once we are done cleaning the insides out.
If you have very young children, you might want to clean the pumpkins out before you actually get them ready to carve. Odds are they won’t enjoy the messy insides anyway.
Do yourself a favor and take care of it on your own. However, older children will really get a kick out of this part of the process. So, don’t leave them out of it!
When Should I Carve My Pumpkin?
You should carve your pumpkin using one of these ninja pumpin stencils THREE days before Halloween. Don’t do it any longer than that because your pumpkin will start to rot.
This isn’t something that you want to be too ahead of.
What Tools Do I Need To Use This Stencil?
