P&G Beauty & Grooming Best Of The Decade: Your Favorite Brands Win Big At Allure’s Annual Beauty Awards

I am such a sucker for beauty awards. I mean, sometimes we just don’t have the time to test out multiple items in the market to figure out which is the best pick for our skin type. Luckily, there are people out there who get paid to do just that!

Allure editors (along with thousands of readers) have tested tens of thousands of beauty products over the past ten years, making them an authority on everything beauty. Allure recently announced that its Best of Beauty Award has been given to P&G Beauty brands Olay, Pantene, Secret and Gillette Venus more times in the past decade than any other brand in the facial moisturizers, shampoo and conditioners, deodorant and razor categories respectively.
Talk about an amazing record!!!
If you are in the market to revamp your beauty routine, look for a brand who has the experts’ seal of approval. Not to mention these brands ALWAYS have coupons in the Sunday newspaper. It’s a great feeling to get a quality product on sale and P&G understands that not only are we looking for something that works, but we’re also looking for a great price!

Olay:

Olay delivers high-end products at prices that are accessible to all women and has won more Allure Best of Beauty awards than any other facial moisturizer brand in the past ten years. Do you use Olay?
The Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream won the 2010 Readers’ Choice Award winner for Best Facial Moisturizer. The product has been clinically proven to lift and firm skin and restore elasticity for a smoother, more youthful appearance. Yes. Please.

Pantene:

Pantene is a STRAIGHT UP STAPLE in my household. It’s the only conditioner I use on my daughter’s hair and I have been purchasing this brand since I was in high school. When it works, it works! Pantene offers customized solutions based on your unique hair structure and styling goals and boasts the most Allure Best of Beauty awards in the shampoo and conditioner category over the past ten years.
Pantene Fine Hair Flat to Volume Shampoo won the 2010 Best of Beauty Award winner for Best Shampoo for Fine Hair.

Secret:

Secret is the number one selling female antiperspirant/deodorant in North America. Talk about an amazing statistic! It’s no surprise that Secret has won more Allure Best of Beauty Awards than any other antiperspirant/deodorant in the past ten years. In fact, Secret Clinical Strength brought home the 2010 Best of Beauty Award for Best Deodorant. It’s clinically proven and doctor-endorsed to provide prescription strength wetness protection. Perfect for busy women on the go.

Gillette:

Gillette Venus is the best-selling brand of women’s razors and has won more Allure Best of Beauty Awards than any other razor in the past ten years.
In 2010, the Venus Embrace took home the best in show. Who needs one blade when you can have five? Embrace features five curve-hugging blades for a closer shave, plus a protective moisture strip for a super-smooth, nick-free glide. Who doesn’t want that!

When was the last time you revisited your beauty routine?
