We’ve been having a busy fall season, getting in all of our favorite autumn activities including apple picking, dressing up for Halloween, casual walks along the pier in our downtown Manhattan neighborhood amidst the brisk air and sweeping foliage. When we went out to New Jersey last month to go apple picking, I was so excited to pack up the stroller and our new JJ Cole Collections Urban BundleMe for our adventure. Unfortunately the day we picked to go ended up being so ridiculously warm, I couldn’t even bear to be outside for too long, and I had to put off her new ‘stroller sleeping bag‘ for another day. Just a week later, the weather got much cooler, and I was SO grateful to have the BundleMe for Penelope to be tucked into during our daily adventures! We live on the water, and it tends to get quite windy, so it was really nice to have her kept warm in a soft and cozy surrounding blanket that can’t fly away.
We went to an early Halloween/housewarming party at my friend’s apartment, so we grabbed the opportunity to make use of Penelope’s elephant costume more than once before it was done for good. We just pulled the stroller straps through the holes in the BundleMe, snapped her in, zipped her up, and she spent pretty much the rest of the time in there sleeping, happy as a clam.
Pretty much every time we’ve been out with the JJ Cole Collections Urban BundleMe, she’s fast asleep. I don’t blame her- the minky feel of the fabric is quite luxurious and just begs to get all cozied up in. It’s wind and water resistant, so she’s been completely unbothered by the coastal chill, and it washes great with everything else in her laundry.
We have the infant version (there’s a toddler one too), and it’s clear that we’re going to be getting some longevity out of this. My daughter is quite long, but there’s plenty of room for her to grow, so we’re covered for the colder seasons.
