New York Fashion Week Secret: Use SWASH To Freshen Up Clothes Backstage @SwashOfficial

Don’t you just love insider secrets! I always say, I’m a “behind the curtain” kinda girl. That’s why I love to go to all those Disney trips. It’s more about seeing HOW the animation is made. That’s where the real magic is for me!

Same goes for fashion.

NYFW came and went like a tornado. You run around town trying to squeeze in as many shows as you can. You try to document the trends, put them to memory and then rearrange your closet to meet the new chic requirements. This year, I was lucky enough to have some time to interview Whitney Pozgay of WHIT. I asked her how she came up with the designs for her new collection. Take a look at the interview. You’ll have to fast forward to the 7 minute mark.

Amazing, right? On top of it all, I was even allowed access backstage. Just like Whitney said, a SWASH machine was on hand to freshen up her clothes to get them ready for display.

Using the Swash system is easy! In just 10 minutes, your garments will be refreshed, clean smelling and ready to be warn again. Think about it:

  • pieces that usually go to the dry cleaners because they need to be touched up but aren’t really THAT dirty.
  • jeans that you don’t want to wash because they will lose their shape
  • sweaters – period!
  • suits and button down shirts that need to be dewrinkled
  • the list goes on and on

If it’s good enough for Fashion Week, it’s good enough for me! For more information about Swash, click here.
