My Must-Have Travel Tools For Any Trip Away From Home #Travel

Last updated: May 29, 2017

I have nonnegotiables when I travel. This involves my airline of choice, where I like to request my hotel rooms and how early I like to have my breakfast. Creature of habit. I know. But, something that I can’t budge on are my gizmos and gadgets. I need all my things with me at all times and if I am halfway across the country… so be it! I’ll just carry it all with me. I decided to show you some of the larger tools I tend to take along because I truly believe they are WORTH THEIR WEIGHT.

My Must-Have Travel Tools For Any Trip

First must-have travel tool is the T3 Compact Hair Dryer.

T3 Compact Hair Dryer – Honestly, I HATE hotel hair dryers. They just don’t work like I need them to. So, I bring my own. Always. This compact dryer from T3 is pretty awesome.

Sound Machine – This is LITERALLY the one that I use every night. There is one sound available and it WORKS. I know you can use apps on your phone. Everyone always tells me this – but I don’t want to do that. 🙂 I know there are lighter options, but why mess around with something that is magic? I sleep wonderfully with this puppy, so she comes around with me like a child.

Chi Flat Iron

Chi Flat Iron – I know I could bring along a mini one, but this doesn’t that up THAT MUCH space in the grand scheme of things. Flat irons are perfect for second day hair. (Also bring dry shampoo)

Multiple USB Charger

Multiple USB Charger – Hotels have a variety of plugs all around the room, but I’m always afraid that I’m going to forget something that’s charging on the desk in the corner as I rush out in the morning to catch my flight. With this charger, I keep everything together by the side of my bed.  All in one place. Easy.

The Apple iPad is my ultimate must-have travel tool.

Apple iPad – this actually gets me through the flight over and then whenever I am in the hotel room after hours. I Netflix LIFE! So, it’s just great to have my account and not have to rely on local TV because I never know where I am going to end up. While I have downtime in my room, I pop open my iPad, put on a movie and let it play by my side while I work. Feels like home.

On top of all of this, I, of course, need all my clothes, jewelry, and makeup. I really try to only bring carry-ons BUT if I can’t make that work, I check a bag. It’s not the end of the world. I rather have all of these things and wait 10 extra minutes at the airport than be without my S-T-U-F-F.

What do you always have to bring while away from home?

Well I totally agree about planning ahead, although I hardly have time to do it. I just pack and go spontaneously, which often means missing out on a lot. Thanks for the tips. They will come in handy. Thanks to this site http://dougterry.worldventures.biz/
