My Bags Are Packed: Heading Down To Florida To Board The Disney Fantasy Cruise

Sea bands? check.

The patch? check.

Nausea pills? check.

Ginger candy? check.

Seriously, I don’t think I’m going to have any room for my CLOTHES because I’m bringing all these drugs! LOL I’m sorry – don’t judge me. I’m just flipping nervous right now. I have benign positional vertigo and the slightest movement can cause me to feel unbalanced. Now, I’m going on the Disney Fantasy CRUISE. And yes, I know the boat is big, but that logic doesn’t work for me. You know why? Because I’m comparing the boat to the O-C-E-A-N. It’s a speck of sand compared to the water’s mass. 🙂

The good news is I’m not leaving out of NY. I don’t think I will EVER leave out of Manhattan because we have rougher waters than down south. My flight is less than 24 hours away and I haven’t even thought about packing. The only thing I have ready is my medicine kit. That was stocked up and prepared weeks ago! hahahhaha

The Disney Fantasy Cruise is actually a press trip and I received my invitation through ‘Traveling Mom‘. Love working for that site! Have you checked out my posts over there yet?

Anyway – today I’m going to be running around trying to get myself in order. This evening, the family is heading to the circus!! So, all this travel prep has to happen this afternoon. Wish me luck! I promise to take LOADS of pictures / video.

You did do that one dinner cruise mini-thing a year or so ago, right? I swear I remember you doing some thing that was a few hours long or just overnight or something to “test things out”. So, I bet you’ll be fine. I hear from all of my friends that do cruises (all the time)that they were nervous their first times out, but none of them had any issues at all with sickness. They say that you never notice/feel the movements, etc. Crossing my fingers for you! Can’t wait to hear all about it.

We’ve been wanting to try a cruise – just because of the whole “no planning” part (in a way). They just look so much easier to deal with. We went to D.C. last year and it was SO much planning and choreographing every minute – i hated that part!

    Have a wonderful time!!!!!!!!!

HAVE SO MUCH FUN! IF you didn’t pack all those medications, you’d need them for sure. But since you’ve brought them, I bet you won’t need them. That’s the way it always goes!
