The Le Creuset Beauty And The Beast Soup Pot From Williams Sonoma

I had a chance to get my hands on the Le Creuset Beauty and the Beast soup pot from Williams Sonoma and it is magical. I was able to get a sneak peek of the piece during an event sponsored by the brand while in LA for the Beauty and the Beast screening. The company has launched this customized cooking pot inspired by the film and my group was treated to a cooking demonstration using the piece which was absolutely delightful!

I love the movie. I love the original story. And now I Iove the cookware. Makes me want to whip something up that’s rustic and French.

You know I am someone who LOVES to cook! I actually own several Le Creuset pots as it is. But to see this amazing new design with nods to Beauty and Beauty all along the lid including that infamous rose and that golden trim, it’s simply magical! Makes me want to start crafting up a stew right now – one that will fill my house with those familiar scents that my entire family will enjoy.

Ah – the flavors and scents of home. 🙂

cooking with le creuset cooking class

We had a taste testing which no one complained about. I think we had 25+ moms in the room and for ONCE someone was cooking for us. Yes. Please. Every dish that was created was absolutely delicious. From the Strawberry and Rose Petal Lemonade to the Squash Soup du Jour – I was in and asking for seconds. They even gave us recipe cards to take home which I filed for future use. It’s not every day that you get treated to a fabulous meal by a credited chef.

Lets Make Flowers class led by Handmade By Sara Kim

But the fun didn’t stop at the kitchen! The Williams Sonoma team invited the group to participate in a #LetsMakeFlowers class led by Sara Kim of HandmadeBySaraKim. She was so talented … there’s just no other way to put it. I failed at this portion of the day. Not going to lie. I am many things… but crafty is not one of them. I gave it my all and then I ran out of gas about 70% through. I TRIED, PEOPLE! I TRIED! But I don’t have a glue stick or glitter fairy in my body. Does that make sense? You know what I mean. I will buy these flowers. I can’t make them. But you should! Check them out because they were so CUTE! OH MY GOODNESS!!! She does wedding and shower favors and if you are local, she will even host a class for you and your friends. But she ships too! Remember that!

Taking this class did spark a huge reminder for me — your local Willams Sonoma stores hosts regular classes for you and your family to take. I have one UP THE ROAD FROM MY HOUSE. Literally, if I wanted to I could walk to it. After returning from this trip, I told my daughter (who wants to be a baker when she grows up) that we have a new weekend and night activity to add to our books. I can’t wait to find the next available Williams Sonoma class to take with Natalie. She is going to LOVE IT.
