Lands’ End Jeans – Stylish Fashion Over 40

Today, I wanted to focus a bit on Lands’ End Jeans because I know a lot people struggle while jean shopping. It’s not my favorite thing to do. Let’s just say that. I don’t enjoy it because I know the cuts and fits of every brand that I shop are all different. An 8 in one store is a 6 in another and that is simply exhausting. In the end, I want to feel comfortable. I want to look put together. I want to not spend a million dollars… but I would like to look like I did. LOL! Lands’ End Jeans have always been my go-to brand of choice. Fashion over 40 is a whole new way of thinking. I don’t need overly fitted options. I need comfort chic! So, today, I want to show you some of my top styles and how I work them into my wardrobe.

Lands End Jeans - Fashion For Women

Today is Wednesday which means that I post my  “What She Wore Wednesday” post. Woot Woot! I love doing these posts. It’s a great excuse for me to rummage through my closet and mix and match styles I already own to create new looks for the blog. Of course, we are thinking FALL already. In NY, it’s been a cool 77 the last few days and according to the weather, it will continue around that range. Even Mother Nature is ready for summer to end.

So, let me take my Lands’ End jeans and show you a few different ways to wear them while keeping fashion over 40 in mind.

Lands End Jeans - Fashion For Women

Here’s what I chose from the Lands End line. I started with this Women’s Military Anorak Jacket. I thought it was SUCH a great color and I loved how all the gold embellishments popped. I wear gold-colored jewelry, so of course, I was drawn to this look. The cinched waist gives me a little curve and shape which I appreciate and it retails for $129.

I will be wearing this jacket all season long… literally.

Then for my Lands’ End jeans, I opted for Low Rise Slim Leg Jeans – in Medium Indigo Wash. I thought the wash color could be dressed up or down depending on my top and accessories and I loved how I was able to play with my booties and the length.

Starting at just $59.00 for solids and $69.00 for patterns, you can snag each of the new and refined washes, to take you from day to night. Here’s the thing about Lands End Jeans — there are 3 distinct styles!  Available in low rise, mid rise and high rise, so you’re guaranteed to find a pair that best flatters you. That means that you will be able to find the right fit to accompany every-body type. And if you are looking for stretch, these jeans have them. Thankfully, they provided me with a more forgiving fit.

After three kids … I say thank you, Lands End. Thank you.

Lands End Jeans - Fashion For Women

Lands End Jeans - Fashion For Women I kept the same jeans on for my second look. I opted for a bright mint shell and paired it with this amazing  Zip Ponté Jacket. SO PERFECT for nights out with friends, PTA dinners, teacher meet and greets, or a fun date night in the city with Mr. Man.

Again, I’m always looking for pieces that are versatile – each of these items from Lands End will fill my need on a few different occasion types. This is SUPER important when I am working fashion over 40.

What about accessories? Go for chunky and fun. Don’t think too much about your arm candy and necklace. Just put on something that has the same feel as the rest of your look. I kept it really simple with these two outfits – choosing long necklaces and one over-sized bangle for each.

The best jeans ever
