Kids Will Gobble Up These Fun Turkey Treats

One of my favorite things every Thanksgiving is decorating the table. I absolutely love all the fall decor, the leaves, the colors, and adding something fun that makes the kids smile.

These little turkey treats are perfect for kids who don’t like pumpkin or apple pie (I know, shock, but some actually don’t). These treat jars though are individual serving size and can be filled with a variety of treats to suit even the pickiest eater, because don’t we all just want peace around the Thanksgiving dinner table?

Turkey Treats for Fall Entertaining

These turkey treat jars can be filled with all kinds of fun things including raisins, chocolate, pudding, crackers, trail mix, pretzels, and mousse.

Turkey Treats For Fall Entertaining – what you need:

  • Jars
  • Treats to pop into the jars
  • Hemp cord
  • Silk fall leaves
  • Googly eyes
  • Card stock – orange and red
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick

The first thing you need to do is attach the fall leaves to the back of each jar. Simply wrap hemp cord around the lid, pull tight and tie a knot once the leaf is firmly secure.

Next, cut out the beak and wattle using the red and orange card stock, and stick into place using a glue stick (you’ll be able to remove this later for washing the jar). Now stick on the googly eyes too.

Fill each jar with your child’s favorite treats and tuck them away until you are ready to use them (refrigerate jars filled with pudding, or simply fill those at the last minute).

And there you have it, a fun treat that’s perfect for all your fall parties, or your Thanksgiving table. Get the kids involved too, they can help make the faces for each of these jars and fill them too.

We’d love more ideas on what you would fill these with, so what would you put into yours?
