OK! Let’s get back to the recipe.
Ninja Foodi Chicken Wings Recipe Ingredients:
- Perdue Herbed Olive Oil Chicken 2.5 Lb Bag (I put the whole thing into the 8 quart) – I am a Perdue Ambassador
- 1/2 cup water
- cooking spray
How do you cook frozen wings in Ninja Foodi?
Pour 1/2 cup of water to the bottom of your cooking base and then add in your air fryer basket. Place your frozen pieces into the basket. One on top of the other. Put your pressure cooker top onto the Ninja Foodie and close the top.
Set the pressure cooker to HI and the timer for 5 minutes. Once complete, release steam and open up the pressure cooker top.
Grab a paper towel and dab the chicken to try to get some of the moisture off all of the pieces. Some people say you don’t have to do this, but it literally takes 5 seconds. I added a video to show you how I do this. I use my tongs to make sure I don’t get too close to the basket.
For the rest of the recipe, we will air fry. Lightly spray your chicken wing pieces with some cooking spray. Some people use olive oil spray… but to be honest with you – I didn’t have a misto sprayer on hand! I need to buy one now!
Set your machine to Air Fry, 390 for 20 minutes and close the top. At the halfway point, you need to open up your lid and flip the pieces with your tongs.
Then close the lid and finish out the remainder of the time. That is literally all you have to do.
It’s as easy as pie! I hope you give this recipe a try! We absolutely love this dish so much! If you love it too, please pin the image below.
How long does it take for ninja Foodi to pressurize?
As part of your recipe, you have to add some time in to include pressurizing. This can between 8-10 minutes. The Ninja Foodi has to heat the water to create the steam needed to come under pressure. During this time, you may see steam escaping from the black valve and/or the red button on the top of the lid.
Can you stack wings in Air fryer?
Yes! You can – just be sure that you toss them around frequently to ensure that each of them is getting CRISP. The alternative is to cook in batches.
How do you use Ninja Foodi air crisp?
There are so many different ways that I use the Ninja Foodi air crisp. Besides chicken wings, I have made bacon, shrimp, steak, asparagus, onion rings, and several desserts. This truly is a versatile machine.
How do you reheat wings in Ninja Foodi?
You can reheat chicken wings in the Ninja Foodi as well! Set the temperature on HI and cook for 4 minutes.
