What To Wear In The Fall - Fall Outfit Ideas For Women

I was one of those people during the summer that was vying for the Fall. You know, begging for my knee high boots and cozy sweaters to come out of hiding. Wishing the warm weather away. YUP! That was me. Today, it’s raining and cold and I’m curled under a blanket dreaming of the beach. I am literally never satisfied. But hey, at least I’m honest. But one thing is true – I REALLY DO LOVE FALL FASHION. With all of my heart!!! If you need a few fall outfit ideas, I wanted to show you a simple look that I have on TODAY and give you a way to replicate the outfit on your own.

This is pretty much my uniform. If you follow me on social media, you will find that I am two parts skinny jeans, two parts knee-high boots, and one part over-sized sweater.

I’ve also mentioned in previous fashion posts that I am really trying to stick to neutrals this year. I just gave away three huge bags of clothing to charity and really just kept the basics. Neutrals really do fly under the radar. I will be able to wear this sweater dozens of times this winter and not many people will remember it. That’s absolutely economical if you ask me.

They have one in my local mall AND one in a Tanger outlet near my house. I visit both all the time. My daughter and I BOTH shop there for accessories, home goods, and clothing. A really underrated spot that turns over styles super fast. So, check back often. A TON of Fall outfit ideas all over that store. I just look at what they have on display and then buy it. LOL.

OK, let’s break down my outfit a few different ways so you can start to think about how to build up this look using your own closet. It’s the easiest formula on the planet. Neutral sweater + skinny jeans / jeggings + boots + an additional layer. In this case, I wore an over-sized scarf, but if you have a favorite cardigan, you can opt for that instead.
