Manhattan has many secrets. Some are older than the city itself.
The city sleeps. Selene DiSilva walks her dog along the banks of the Hudson. She is alone—just the way she likes it. She doesn’t believe in friends, and she doesn’t speak to her family. Most of them are simply too dangerous.
In the predawn calm, Selene finds the body of a young woman washed ashore, gruesomely mutilated and wreathed in laurel. Her ancient rage returns. And so does the memory of a promise she made long ago—when her name was Artemis.
I love this book. It’s a great story, with some wonderful twists and turns, plus it’s set in NYC…which you know I’m just all about!! It’s a good read, perfect for relaxing in bed and, if it wasn’t winter, a trip to the beach. really enjoyable!!
Here’s a video intro to really get you into this book!
Check out some early praise:
“The Immortals is a lively re-imagining of classical mythology with an engaging premise, a page-turning plot, and an eye for the arresting and uncanny in contemporary urban life.” ―Deborah Harkness, New York Times bestselling author of A Discovery of Witches
“Brodsky’s writing has claws…They sink in with the first word and don’t let go until you are finished with the book.”―Darynda Jones, New York Times bestselling author
“Irresistible…a page-turner that deftly weaves action, romance, and a dash of intellectual heft into one seamless whole.” ―Dustin Thomason, New York Times bestselling author
“Plays with more modern mythology, employing New York’s own secret places and storied history to great effect. This intelligent, provocative fantasy breathes exciting new life into old, familiar tales.” ―Publishers Weekly (starred review)

I’ve only been twice in the last 3 years. Star Wars and Deadpool. I usually just wait till it hits Redbox.
Only once in a while, like once a year or so.
I have a baby and haven’t been out to the movies in a very long time.
I go out once a month with my girl friends and have a good time!
I go to the movies but with my kids. I never have a Girls Night Out.
Great giveaway, thanks!
once or twice a month, so badly wanted to watch The Deadpool but something came up so I am one of those that still didn’t watch it, avoiding internet because of spoilers and waiting for a blueray to come out, thank you for the giveaway
I only go to the movies about once a year.
I go to the movies with my family about once a month, but not for a girl’s night out.

I never go out to the movies. We enjoy Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Redbox at home.
It has to be a really great movie for me to go to a Theater to see it. Most movies are released to video a few short months after they are released at the Theater.
This book sounds like a page turner. I need something for a long plane trip that I’m about to go on I am going to check this book out.
I never go out to see movies in the theater anymore. With having so many streaming services available, I like having a girls night in watching movies. We can serve snacks, drinks, it is much more relaxed. 🙂
I do not go the theater very often, but I watch movies from Redbox every week!
We go to the movies once or twice a month.

This book sounds like a great movie idea! The plot seems to be very interesting. I’d love to read this.
We maybe once every month or so. It’s so expensive with a family of 5, so usually we watch movies at home.
We no longer do girls night out movies.
And we see a movie every couple of months.
thank you
I go to the movies every few months. There always seems to be movies out in November and December that I want to see so usually a little more often then. I don’t do girls night out for movies.
We probably go to the movies once every month or two, we want to go more but somehow we never make the effort.
