We’ve all had fun this summer. Our kids have practically LIVED in the town pool. Heck, we even dipped our bodies in on those really hot days. Now, it’s time to get rid of that chlorine build up on our hair.
Your salon might have a chlorine treatment that you can do, but I’m not so sure of the price. If you want to try to take care of it at home, here are a few products that will help. I use one of these all summer long – and next year you should consider doing the same.
But if you haven’t thought about chlorine build up in your hair until right now, don’t worry! It’s all treatable.
Zerran Negate Hair Clarifying Treatment for Chlorine Green & Other Contaminants – 32 oz / liter
UltraSwim Chlorine-Removal Shampoo, 7-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 4) — this is what I use and it’s great. I have the conditioner as well.
Paul Mitchell Shampoo Three, Removes Chlorine and Impurities, 33.8-ounce
Aubrey Organics – Swimmer’s Shampoo, 16 fl oz liquid
Oh and here’s a tip I read online. Rinse your head with club soda after getting out of the pool to help eliminate a green tint! The club soda actually stops the chlorine from affecting your hair.
