Over the weekend, Natalie walked in a parade with the rest of her school’s band. It was so FUN to watch her hit the streets rocking out in unison with her fellow classmates. I managed to take a really quick video and put it on Instagram.
I didn’t have town parades growing up. I didn’t even have a BAND in my elementary school. Heck… we didn’t have MUSIC CLASS. It’s nice to see all the wonderful things that my children get to experience during their younger years. And if I’m being honest, I enjoy living through them. As she walked the streets of our town with all the rest of the kids, every parent was shouting and cheering and clapping. What a sight! What a feeling! I hope she never forgets it.
