I was a little sad when I woke up on my daughter’s birthday. Not going to lie. Double digits is EVERYTHING to the birthday girl… but a bit devastating to the mom. I mean, I have a ten year old. Me. How is that possible?
While she was in school, I got it together and let go of my crazy and instead focused on my little baby. I ran around like an animal and bought her all the Shopkins I could find. You’d think I would do this earlier… but no. I wait last minute as usual! Luckily, we scored.
As Sweeney custom goes, we headed for some arcade fun…
And then ended up eating Hibachi until we couldn’t walk. I was in my glory! The day was so much fun for the entire family. I am so happy that they are still our little babies and went to sleep smiling because this double digit birthday didn’t really change a thing… yet. 😉
