Avenue Suites Georgetown: The Place To Stay While Visiting Washington DC

Avenue Suites Georgetown
Remember when I visited The White House last week?  It’s the only thing I can think about these days! AHHH

Anyway, during my short stay in Washington DC, I had the privilege of checking into Avenue Suites Georgetown – a Modus Hotel – located right on Pennsylvania Avenue. I LOVED how I was located right in the middle of it all. Whether I wanted to walk across the street to Trader Joes or if I wanted to head down the block for a spin class at Soul Cycle, it was all right there just a few feet away. Talk about ease!

My suite was just perfect for the business woman on the go OR for a large family looking to do some sightseeing. The room I booked could easily fit my family of 5 and you know I was already thinking about my next trip down to DC.

I absolutely loved the way the living space was configured — you had an amazing desk overlooking an incredible view of the city, a couch and TV in the center just perfect for the kids and then a small eating area to enjoy morning breakfast or a light snack.

Did I mention that at Avenue Suites Georgetown you can have a room with this kitchen (that is actually larger than most NYC versions)?

The bedroom area was quite large as well. I shared this room with my partner, Audrey, so we opted for two Queen beds instead of a King. But for families, that is absolutely available as well. Avenue Suites Georgetown

I will say that I just LOVED the decor of the space – modern yet chic. When you think of Washington DC, you think of BUSINESS and GOVERNMENT. I never thought boutique hotel with such a city flare. I was so happy to see and feel this vibe at check in.
