It’s no joke that a massive snowstorm rang in spring (April Fool’s Day indeed). And while snow in April isn’t the norm, rain certainly is. I was prowling around looking for a cute rain coat and found just what I was looking for at Helly Hansen. It’s white, has a really flattering shape, and some cool detailed embroidery across the back shoulder area. It has me saying “bring it” to April showers.
My other essential rain gear: these adorable “Anne” boots from Bogs. At first glance they are your basic rain boot, but the have a supercute floral-y detail around the cuff. They’re also insulated so they keep your feet warm, AND treated with an antimicrobial formula so they won’t get smelly. I can’t wait for the next rain so I can stomp in some puddles with my kids!

I loved my Bogs until my sisters puppy decided to use them as a chew toy. I've suffered all winter with just regular boots, and they just don't work the same. So I am hoping Saturday I can find a new pair of bogs. Maybe a pair of riding bogs that I can wear when I ride my horse.
