A Clam Bake With No Clams. Wait – What?

Last night a bunch of friend and I went out to a clam bake. Or so I thought! When we got there we were each given a menu with one of two options: seafood platter or a meat platter. I’m not one for fish – so I opted for the meat. Apparently, so did 8 out of the 10 people at the table.

I thought that was SO FUNNY considering we all went to this place for a “clam bake”. Turns out it was just a night that a restaurant served a big seafood platter.

I’m not complaining. Had fun either way. But do you SEE HOW MUCH FOOD WAS SERVED? I literally picked at a piece of chicken and then pushed my plate away. Sometimes my brain overrides my stomach. Seeing that amount of food on one plate was borderline gluttonous.

After dinner we hit up a bar and didn’t get home until 3AM. Can I TELL YOU HOW TIRED I AM RIGHT NOW?

And my house is completely upside. Luckily, I’m still enamored with my Frigidaire washer and dryer. I haven’t done laundry in over a week and my kids were down to one pair of pajamas each. Needless to say those bad boys have been quietly running for the last few hours. Oy vey – I hope I come out on top of all of this.

Oh and did I mention that last night Bill spilled an entire glass of red wine all over his shirt and pants? I am pre-soaking as we speak. Going to work that machine to the bone. Luckily it comes with a million specialty cycles:

  • Quick Sanitize
  • Pet Beds
  • Kids’ Wear
  • Jeans
  • Active Wear
  • Stuffed Animals
  • Soil Level Selections: 5
  • Max Soil
  • Heavy Soil
  • Normal Soil
  • Light Soil
  • Extra Light Soil

Will let you know what happens!!

LOL , no clams!!! You still had fun! :)) and yep, that a whole a lot of food on one plater:) Could easily feed 3 people.

Laundry, darn it. Thanks Vera, i remember now what i left to do before i go to bed:-)
If i’d spill wine like that i wouldn’t bothered to wash the clothes, they’d be ruined with no chance to be worn again. But i’m glad your machine can sort that out, mine wouldn’t, so i wouldn’t even try
