The internet. My job. The virtual space. Binary Code…….
Real life friends.
Sure, I may not see them all the time. Sure, I have blogging buddies that literally live all over the globe. But our community is strong. And I am proud to say that when one friend falls, many will come running to help pick her back up.
One of our friends has taken a little stumble. In fact… she’s in a brawl. A fight. THE FIGHT. Cancer. It happened so quickly I’m not sure it’s absolutely processed yet. A visit, a lump, a diagnosis. Boom. Here we are.
Amanda Henson wrote about the first few steps of her journey on her blog. We all know this is a marathon and not a sprint. So, some of her friends decided to create a support group called Amanda’s Army – a team of people who would help spread the word about her story and ask for prayer and support.
One friend – Desiree – even made a video of encouragement. Love it.
I never ask much of my readers. This blog isn’t about asking for things. It’s about supply. I love to tell stories. I love to share my life. I love to chat about the latest fashion deals. But today, I’m asking something of you. I’m asking if you will help make Amanda’s journey more financially sound. Amanda’s Army set up a donation page because she has to take some time off of work to get better. Anything will help. Click here to contribute whatever you can.
Thank you for reading and thank you for sending your positive support to this wonderful woman.
