Brown sugar is an excellent skin exfoliator. Brown sugar is so much better than using salt crystals since the size of those crystals can cause microscopic tears in your skin. Brown sugar has smaller particles which are safer for your skin but big enough to scrub away dead skin cells.

Honey is a natural antibacterial and is a perfect acne treatment. Use it to prevent acne from even occurring. Honey is also moisturizing and soothing, leaving you with a natural glow.

Nutmeg is used to reduce scars and alleviate acne. When combined with honey, it’s even more powerful for targeting acne scars. Lemon is also known to alleviate eczema.

Lemon has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. It also lightens dark spots and acne scars. If you have oily skin, lemon is great for ridding you of that shine. Rub a little of this scrub on your lips to soothe chapped lips.
